Dance Concert and Community Dialogue
Following a performance of original works by the TRANSForm Dance Collective, delve into the ideas and processes behind the works, and get to know how these artists have built a trans-continental model of collaboration. Community Dialogues or Talk Back Events are a fun and informal opportunity to meet and greet with the founding artists of TRANSForm.
Process and Performance Experience
Participants are invited to step inside the creative process and perform with the artists of the TRANSForm Dance Collective in a dance concert presented in conjunction with the residency. Artists and participants will work collaboratively to develop material and integrate into professional works.
Technique Classes, Topical Workshops, and Panel Discussions
Given their diverse backgrounds and interests, the eight artists of TRANSForm can deliver a variety of dance classes and topical workshops, ranging from Horton Technique to Gaga-inspired Improvisation, Hip Hop to Classical Indian Dance, and Composition to MFA Seminar topics. Original Dance Creation
The TRANSForm Dance Collective artists are available to create original dance works for your students or performing company. Dancers experience the working processes of various artists in an intensive time-frame.
